What the Video Game Industry Got Wrong

EPISODE 192: Landman.

A few things going on in this week’s Share & Tell, which is a special visit from my gallivanting friends Domonique Foxworth and Charlie Kravitz (of The Domonique Foxworth Show).

Our docket begins with a call PTFO made to a source who was in the room — and literally behind the camera — during Jerry Jones’ wildly viral hospital-room scene from the (startlingly popular) television series Landman.

And then we dive into an eye-opening story from The New York Times entitled “Video Games Can’t Afford to Look This Good.” Which led us to a discussion about what Roblox has taught us in the era of Spider-Man 2. Somehow connecting the analytics movement in sportstalk to the ethics of using Oddjob in Goldenye.

Finally: we attempt to rank the worst texters in sports media. (With one of them.)
