Stephen Glover, One of the Best Writers in Hollywood, Is Too Good for Jail Baloney
EPISODE 5: An in-person conversation with one of my favorite people.
Whenever I talk to my friend Steve, neither of us has any idea what we’re about to talk about. Which is part of why I love talking to Steve so much. (He’s what I was envisioning with the wild-card, fantasy-football-flex-spot episode I wanna do, once a week, on Pablo Torre Finds Out.)
But today — the day I finally get to bring the outside world into one of our conversations, for the first time — I feel guilty.
Because the promotion of today’s show (BREAKING: EXCLUSIVE: SOURCES: STAR WARS GOSSIP) is pretty obviously satirical, on the one hand.
On the other hand: we’re also, uh, promoting today’s show like that. As in, I’m parodying the notion that I’m a Comic Con journalist with a scoop that I want circulated all across Reddit.
But also: please circulate this on Reddit? So people wind up listening to this episode? Which is mostly about how Steve’s HS football coach is an evil fortune-teller; risk in Hollywood; Eli Manning; mastering Spider-Man Cartoon Maker with his brother Donald; and Jim Carrey’s Riddler?
Anyway. I hope you love this as much as I did:
SPOILER ALERT: The stuff at the end of this episode, I meant completely sincerely.
Headed to Reddit
I feel like I wasted my life on Mario Paint when clearly I should have been using Spiderman Cartoon Maker.
