Sneak Preview Episode (!) with Dan and Mina

SNEAK PREVIEW 1: A challenger — and new game — appears.

Yes, Pablo Torre Finds Out is formally launching on Sept. 5, bringing you three new episodes every week. But, uhhh, SURPRISE:

Your new friends at PTFO have been in the lab, doing secret chemistry experiments and shit.

And no, not every episode we do will be like this Sneak Preview. (Once a week, for example, we’re gonna give you a reported, produced deep-dive — like if that “trailer” we made last week was a ~45-minute feature. But with fewer Baldwins.)

This Preview, though, is our very first attempt at another style of weekly episode I’ve long wanted to try.

The concept here was pretty simple:

1. I’ve always loved hosting shows with Dan Le Batard, my aforementioned friend/partner/boss. So let’s do more of that.

2. My shows with Dan — as on pandemic-era Highly Questionable — were always most fun when we had a third friend who could be both smart and stupid. So let’s do more of that.

3. We don’t get to have deeper conversations about the news stories we’re personally obsessed with/used to report, often enough. So let’s do more of that.

So! This week, for Pablo Torre Finds Out’s maiden voyage into a truly prenatal experiment, I asked our old friend Mina Kimes (pregnant host of the excellent Mina Kimes Show featuring Lenny) to hang out with us.

We each get to share one (1) topic/article/video/whatever that we’ve been super into learning about this week, from across sports and beyond. And I get to Find Out more about these topics — and my friends — in the process.
