EPISODE 244: Baby got backfield.

This is a story with a twist.

And despite every algorithmic incentive to do so, I’m not gonna spoil it.

The reporting is based on a fantastic new book, Runs in the Family, that our friend Sarah Spain has written. And what we here at PTFO decided to do is adapt it into a docu-style episode — audio-first, as always, but also fully produced for television — blending in some more research and, crucially, one big interview.

Here’s the sort of feedback we’ve been getting:

Which is overwhelmingly because Sarah and the protagonist of this episode, Deland McCullough — a former NFL player who’s now the running backs coach for the Las Vegas Raiders — have devoted so much time to getting this story right.
